BOYS BASKETBALL

KIMBERLY 96, FOND DU LAC 54

FOND DU LAC – Jackson Paveletzke and Grant Asman each scored 23 points to lead the Papermakers, who clinched at least a share of the Fox Valley Association title with the win.

Kimberly improved to 15-0 in the FVA and 17-2 overall with three league games remaining. Neenah is 12-2 in the FVA and Hortonville is 12-4 after the Polar Bears lost to Appleton North.

Jake Buchanan and Logan Pearson added 15 points apiece for Kimberly, which led 45-27 at halftime.

Fond du Lac was led by Mack Sebert with 21 points.

APPLETON NORTH 65, HORTONVILLE 54

APPLETON – After trailing by five points at halftime, the Lightning stormed back with a 43-27 second-half scoring run to secure a Fox Valley Association victory over the Polar Bears.

Leading scorers for Appleton North were Anders Brekke with 17 points, Max Nelson with 12 and Dante Borland with 11.

Mason Thiel scored 14 points and Cole Warning added 12 to lead Hortonville.

OSHKOSH – The Ghosts built a nine-point halftime lead and held steady in the second half to seal the Fox Valley Association win.

Leading scorers for Kaukauna were Jacob Newhouse with 33 points, Logan Jedwabny with 21 and Tyson Stelow-Waldrop with 17.

Josh Dilling and Garang Deng paced Oshkosh North with 24 and 17 points, respectively. Dilling knocked down a game-high six 3-pointers.

LITTLE CHUTE – The Foxes warmed up in the second half while the Mustangs cooled off, allowing Fox Valley Lutheran to outscore Little Chute 39-22 down the stretch to pick up the win.

Fox Valley Lutheran, which trailed by eight points at halftime, was led by Isaiah Ulman’s 23 points. Josiah Butler and Spencer Jens added 19 and 15 points, respectively.

Little Chute was led by Tate Huss with 14 points.

Sam Haese scored 16 points in the second half to finish with 21 and lead the Tigers (18-1 overall, 14-1). Tyler Kroes and Ben Peer both finished in double figures with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Donovan Short scored 19 points to lead Denmark (10-9, 7-8). Hayden Konkol added 14, and Drake Locklear and Brennen Miller both chipped in with 10 points.
