MADISON, Wisc. — Good news for those who are not looking forward to a second round of snow in Madison: Saturday evening/night’s snow event has been scaled back.
A shift in the track of the storm will bring more snowfall to the southeast corner of Wisconsin; totals for Dane County will range from 1-3″ with lesser amounts to the northwest. Periods of heavy snow are still possible at times, so the threat for reduced visibility Saturday evening remains. Drivers should give themselves plenty of additional time for travel.
Snow will come to an end Saturday night. Sunday will bring partly sunny skies and a break in the snow showers before another opportunity for accumulating snow builds in Sunday night.
